Why Dive in January
January is an excellent time for a Cayman Islands scuba diving holiday. The weather is pleasantly warm, rainfall is usually limited, and the sea often offers the clear visibility that has made these islands famous with divers. It is a lovely escape from the colder, darker days in the United Kingdom.
Water temperatures are generally comfortable, although most divers will appreciate a light wetsuit for longer dives. Above the surface, gentle sunshine and cooling trade winds make it easy to enjoy a full day in the water without feeling overheated. January is also a popular month, so arranging your diving and accommodation in advance is sensible.
