Why Visit in February
February is an excellent month for a birdwatching holiday in the Cayman Islands. The weather is generally warm, sunny and pleasantly dry, making it comfortable to spend long mornings outdoors with binoculars and a camera. Gentle breezes can make walks around wetlands and woodland trails especially enjoyable.
This is also a rewarding time for seeing both resident birds and winter visitors. Migratory species may still be passing through or settling in for the season, while Cayman’s familiar island birds remain active around gardens, scrub and coastal habitats. A relaxed pace gives you plenty of chances to stop, listen and look closely.
