Seven Mile Beach
Seven Mile Beach is the classic Cayman Islands photograph, and it is easy to see why. Soft white sand curves alongside clear turquoise water, while the shallow sea often looks wonderfully bright beneath the Caribbean sun. Arrive early for a peaceful shoreline scene, or visit later in the day when the light becomes warmer.
Walk towards the quieter northern end for photographs with fewer people in the background. A wide-angle shot can capture the sweeping beach and vivid sea, while a simple portrait beside the water feels natural rather than staged. Remember that the beach is slightly under seven miles long, but the name still suits its grand sense of space.
