January Adventure in Dominica

January is an excellent time to discover Dominica if your idea of a Caribbean holiday includes walking, swimming and exploring rather than simply relaxing beside a pool. Planning Your January Holiday

Base yourself near Roseau for easy access to guides, waterfalls and the south-west coast, or choose a quieter village for a more local atmosphere. Hiring a car can be useful, although roads are often narrow and winding, so organised excursions are a sensible choice for longer hikes and canyoning.
