Rainforest Adventures
February is an excellent time for a Guadeloupe adventure holiday. The weather is generally warm, bright and pleasantly dry, making it comfortable to explore outdoors without the intense heat that can arrive later in the year. With two main islands joined by a bridge, Guadeloupe offers an impressive variety of landscapes within a relatively compact destination.
On Basse-Terre, head into Guadeloupe National Park for a taste of the island’s wilder side. Trails lead through dense rainforest, past tumbling streams and towards viewpoints beneath La Soufrière volcano. Choose a gentle walk around waterfalls or take on a more demanding route if you enjoy a proper challenge. Local guides can add useful insight into the plants, wildlife and volcanic history along the way.
