January Landscapes
January is an excellent time to discover Montserrat’s natural side. The island is warm, generally drier than during the wetter months, and comfortably breezy, making it ideal for walking, sightseeing and exploring outdoors. With fewer visitors than many Caribbean destinations, you can enjoy the scenery at an unhurried pace.
Montserrat is known as the Emerald Isle of the Caribbean, and it is easy to see why. Green hills, forested valleys and dramatic volcanic landscapes fill the view, while the coastline adds black-sand beaches and clear Atlantic water. A nature holiday here feels wonderfully peaceful, but there is always something new to see around the next bend.
