Why Visit in February
February is an excellent month for a Montserrat birdwatching holiday. The island is usually enjoying warm, drier weather, with comfortable temperatures for exploring woodland trails, gardens and open hillsides. Clearer conditions also make it easier to spend a full morning outdoors, when birds are most active.
Montserrat is one of the Caribbean’s more peaceful islands, so birdwatching feels wonderfully unhurried. Instead of crowded viewpoints, you can listen for calls in the forest, pause beside a quiet track and watch birds moving through the canopy. The island’s dramatic volcanic landscape adds an impressive backdrop to every outing.
