January in Puerto Rico
January is an excellent time for a Puerto Rico nature holiday. The weather is generally warm and comfortable, with less humidity than the summer months and plenty of sunshine for exploring. Daytime temperatures are often around 28°C, while evenings can feel pleasantly cooler, especially in the hills.
This is also a popular period to visit, so it pays to plan ahead for accommodation and guided excursions. Even when the beaches are busy, Puerto Rico’s forests, wetlands and mountain landscapes offer plenty of space to slow down and enjoy the island at its natural pace.
