Why Dive in January?
January is an excellent month for scuba diving in Saint Kitts and Nevis. The islands enjoy warm, generally sunny weather, while the sea remains invitingly mild, making it easy to spend long, comfortable periods underwater. After the busy Christmas and New Year period, the atmosphere often feels relaxed and unhurried.
Visibility can be impressive at this time of year, particularly on calmer days, with clear water revealing reef fish, sponges and dramatic underwater rock formations. January is also part of the region’s drier season, although a brief shower is always possible. Above the surface, pleasant temperatures make it just as enjoyable to explore historic streets, volcanic landscapes and quiet beaches.
