Why Visit in February?
February is an excellent month for a birdwatching holiday in Saint Martin and Sint Maarten. The weather is generally warm, bright and pleasantly dry, with comfortable breezes that make early morning walks enjoyable. It is also a lovely escape from the colder, darker days in the United Kingdom.
The island’s mix of salt ponds, mangroves, scrub, woodland and coastline creates plenty of habitats to explore in a relatively small area. February visitors can expect relaxed days outdoors, good visibility and the chance to combine wildlife watching with beautiful beaches, local food and the distinctive French and Dutch character of the island.
