Why Walk in January?
January is an excellent time for a walking holiday in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The weather is warm without feeling excessively humid, rainfall is usually limited, and gentle trade winds make coastal paths pleasantly comfortable. It is an easy month in which to enjoy the islands at a relaxed pace.
Walking lets you see far more than you would from a car or resort. You can pause at a quiet viewpoint, follow a path through fragrant woodland or reach a beach that is hidden from the main roads. With plenty of daylight, there is also time for a swim, a leisurely lunch or a sunset stroll after your walk.
