Why Visit in January
January is an excellent time for a multi-country trip to Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. The weather is generally warm, bright and pleasantly dry, making it easy to enjoy the outdoors without feeling overwhelmed by heat. Daytime temperatures are usually around 28°C, while gentle trade winds keep the islands comfortable.
These three Dutch Caribbean islands each have a distinct character, so travelling between them feels like discovering three different sides of the region. Bonaire is known for superb diving and relaxed beaches, Sint Eustatius offers fascinating history and quiet coastal scenery, while Saba combines dramatic mountain landscapes with rewarding walks and excellent diving.
