For walkers, the dormant volcano known as The Quill provides a rewarding change of scenery. Trails lead through lush forest into the crater, while coastal paths offer broad views across the Caribbean. Saba is the smallest and perhaps most dramatic of the three islands. Its steep volcanic landscape rises sharply from the sea, with winding roads, stone cottages and spectacular walking trails. Mount Scenery is the island’s high point, and the climb through tropical forest rewards energetic visitors with impressive views when the clouds clear.
