Why Dive in January?
January is an excellent time for a Saint Lucia scuba diving holiday. The island is enjoying its dry season, so days are generally warm, bright and comfortable, while the sea is invitingly clear. Water temperatures usually hover around 26 to 27°C, making a wetsuit feel comfortable rather than essential for many divers.
Visibility can be particularly impressive at this time of year, often reaching 20 metres or more when conditions are favourable. That means you have a better chance of appreciating the full scale of Saint Lucia’s reefs, from tiny cleaner shrimp to graceful turtles and schools of tropical fish moving across the coral.
