Why February Works
February is an excellent time to enjoy water sports in the British Virgin Islands. The weather is usually warm and pleasantly dry, with plenty of sunshine, comfortable temperatures and refreshing trade winds. Sea conditions can be invitingly clear, making it easy to spend most of the day on or in the water.
This is also a popular period for a Caribbean holiday, so it is sensible to book equipment and organised excursions ahead of time. Even so, the BVI has many quiet bays and uncrowded stretches of coastline where you can take things at your own pace. Whether you are travelling with family, friends or a partner, there is a water-based activity to suit almost everyone.
