July Diving Conditions
Scuba diving in the Bahamas in July is a rewarding way to experience the islands beneath the surface. Warm seas, bright visibility and long daylight hours make it easy to settle into a relaxed rhythm of morning boat dives, leisurely lunches and another look at the reef in the afternoon.
Sea temperatures are usually around 28°C, so most divers are comfortable in a lightweight wetsuit or rash vest. Visibility can often reach 20 to 30 metres, although conditions vary between islands and sites. July is part of the wetter season, but showers are often brief, leaving plenty of time for diving and exploring the shore.
