Bonaire Beach Views
August is a brilliant time to explore Bonaire with your camera ready. The island’s clear water, pale beaches and relaxed atmosphere create easy photo opportunities, whether you are travelling with friends, family or simply enjoying a quiet escape.
Start at Sorobon Beach, where shallow turquoise water stretches towards Lac Bay. Windsurfers often add movement and colour to the view, while the calm lagoon makes a lovely setting for a simple beach portrait or a wide landscape photograph. Early morning light is softer, and the beach is usually at its most peaceful.
For something more dramatic, head towards the southern end of Bonaire. The salt pans, white pyramids and vivid pink water make a striking contrast with the blue Caribbean sky. Keep to marked areas and avoid disturbing wildlife, especially flamingos, but you can still capture memorable images from a respectful distance.
