Why Walk in January?
January is an excellent time for a walking holiday in Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. The islands enjoy warm, generally dry weather, with refreshing trade winds that make exploring on foot far more comfortable than you might expect in the Caribbean. Days are ideal for gentle adventures, while evenings are pleasant enough for an outdoor meal by the sea.
Each island offers a completely different walking experience. Bonaire is relaxed and open, Sint Eustatius combines history with volcanic landscapes, and Saba is wonderfully rugged, with steep paths and superb views. Together, they make an exciting choice for travellers who want scenery, wildlife and local character rather than a purely beach-based break.
