Why Visit Cuba in June?
June is an excellent month for a Cuba nature holiday if you enjoy vivid landscapes, warm weather and a quieter feel away from the busiest travel periods. Summer is beginning, bringing fresh green growth to the countryside and plenty of colour to Cuba’s gardens, forests and wetlands.
Expect hot days, with temperatures often around 30°C, and a tropical atmosphere that suits early starts, shaded walks and refreshing swims. Short rain showers are possible, particularly later in the day, but they can be useful rather than inconvenient, cooling the air and making the scenery look especially vibrant.
Travelling in June also gives you the chance to see Cuba at a more relaxed pace. You can spend the morning exploring a national park, stop for lunch in a rural town and still have time to watch the sunset beside the coast.
