A Warm February Escape
February is an excellent time for a Grenada city break, especially if you want winter sunshine with plenty to see and do. While much of the United Kingdom is cold and grey, Grenada is warm, welcoming and wonderfully relaxed, with daytime temperatures usually around 28°C. The island’s capital, St George’s, makes a memorable base for a short holiday, combining a lively Caribbean atmosphere with historic streets, pretty views and easy access to the coast.
St George’s is compact enough to explore on foot, yet every turn offers something different. You can wander past pastel-coloured buildings, browse local shops and pause for a drink overlooking the horseshoe-shaped harbour. February is also part of Grenada’s dry season, so there is a good chance of clear skies for sightseeing, beach time and boat trips.
