February Diving Conditions
February is an excellent month for scuba diving in Montserrat. The island enjoys warm, generally settled weather, with plenty of sunshine and comfortable sea conditions for exploring the reefs and underwater scenery around the coast.
Water temperatures usually sit at a pleasant level, so many divers are happy in a lightweight wetsuit. Visibility can be impressive, often allowing you to look across rocky ledges, coral-covered walls and sandy seabeds well beyond your immediate surroundings.
February is also a popular time to visit the Caribbean, so it is sensible to arrange your diving and accommodation ahead of travel. A local dive centre can advise on the best sites for the day, taking account of currents, experience and the latest conditions.
