Why Visit in February
February is an excellent month for a walking holiday in Montserrat. The island is warm, bright and generally drier than during the wetter part of the year, making it comfortable to spend long days outdoors. Daytime temperatures are usually around 25 to 28°C, while a gentle breeze can make the coastal trails feel pleasantly fresh.
This is also a rewarding time to explore Montserrat before the island becomes busier later in the season. You can walk at an easy pace, stop for photographs and enjoy the quiet atmosphere of villages, valleys and viewpoints. Pack light clothing, sturdy shoes, sun protection and a waterproof layer for the occasional tropical shower.
