Why Visit in February?
February is an excellent month for a Saint Barthélemy birdwatching holiday. The weather is usually warm, bright and pleasantly dry, with comfortable breezes that make time outdoors enjoyable. It is a lovely escape from the colder, shorter days in the United Kingdom, without the heavy humidity found later in the year.
Birdwatching here is not about covering huge distances or ticking off hundreds of species. Instead, it is about exploring a compact Caribbean island at an easy pace, watching birds around quiet beaches, rocky headlands, scrubby hills and sheltered ponds. Add excellent food, attractive villages and beautiful coastal views, and February feels like a particularly rewarding time to visit.
