Relaxing Beaches
Turks and Caicos is made for slowing down. The islands are best known for their remarkable beaches, and a stay here quickly settles into an easy rhythm of sea swims, unhurried lunches and long walks beside the water. Grace Bay Beach, on Providenciales, is the classic choice, with soft white sand and clear, shallow water that is ideal for a gentle dip.
For a quieter beach experience, explore Leeward Beach or make time for the peaceful shores around Chalk Sound and Taylor Bay. Bring a book, a hat and plenty of water, then let the warm breeze do the rest. The absence of busy high-rise resorts in many parts of the islands means it is still possible to find a peaceful stretch of sand where the loudest sound is the sea.
