Why Visit in August?
August is a lovely time to experience the United States Virgin Islands if you want warm weather, beautiful beaches and a more laid-back feel. Days are generally hot, with temperatures often around 30°C, while the sea is wonderfully inviting for swimming, snorkelling and paddleboarding.
It is also a quieter month than the peak winter season. Resorts can feel more peaceful, beaches are less crowded and you may find attractive prices on all-inclusive holidays. There can be short tropical showers, but they often pass quickly, leaving the air fresh and the afternoon ready for more sunshine.
