Walk in Warmth
February is an excellent time for a walking holiday in the United States Virgin Islands. The weather is warm, the skies are often clear and the gentle trade winds make exploring on foot surprisingly comfortable. While much of the UK is still deep in winter, you could be following a shady forest path, looking across a bright Caribbean bay and ending the day beside the sea.
St John is particularly rewarding for walkers, with much of the island protected within Virgin Islands National Park. Trails lead through dry woodland, along quiet beaches and over hills with impressive views. St Thomas and St Croix offer their own mix of historic streets, coastal paths and countryside walks, so it is easy to plan a holiday with plenty of variety.
