Aruba Instagram Spots

Caribbean Holidays, Aruba Instagram Spots, Golden-hour view of Aruba's Eagle Beach with white sand, turquoise sea and distinctive fofoti trees

Eagle Beach at Golden Hour

March is an excellent time to visit Aruba, and Eagle Beach is one of the island’s most reliable places for an unforgettable Instagram photograph. Its broad sweep of white sand, clear turquoise water and famous fofoti trees create the classic Aruba scene, especially when the afternoon light begins to soften.

Arrive before sunset and walk towards the quieter ends of the beach, where you can frame the trees against the sea without too many people in the background. The breeze is usually welcome, but secure hats and loose belongings before setting up your shot. After taking photographs, stay for a swim or watch the sky change colour over the Caribbean.

Colourful Oranjestad

Aruba’s capital is ideal for adding colour and local character to your holiday feed. Oranjestad’s pastel buildings, Dutch-inspired architecture, street art and brightly painted shops make a pleasant change from beach photographs. March sunshine brings out the colours beautifully, while the town is easy to explore on foot.

Look around Wilhelmina Park and the streets near the waterfront for interesting details, including old façades, tropical plants and colourful architecture. Visit in the morning for softer light and fewer crowds, then stop for coffee, lunch or a chilled drink. A few spontaneous street photographs often tell the story of your trip better than a carefully posed image.

Caribbean Holidays, Aruba Instagram Spots, Dramatic Natural Pool in Aruba surrounded by rugged volcanic rocks, bright blue water and a small group of visitors

Natural Pool Adventure

For a more rugged side of Aruba, head into Arikok National Park to see the Natural Pool, known locally as Conchi. The pool is enclosed by dark volcanic rock, and waves tumble over the edge to fill the water with fresh seawater. It is one of the island’s most memorable landscapes and a brilliant place for adventurous holiday photographs.

Reaching the pool involves rough tracks, so a guided jeep tour is often the easiest and safest option. Wear sturdy footwear and bring water, sun protection and a waterproof phone case. The rocks can be slippery, so take your time and enjoy the view rather than concentrating only on getting the perfect image.

Sunrise at Manchebo

Manchebo Beach offers a quieter alternative to some of Aruba’s best-known viewpoints. Its gently curving shoreline, pale sand and wind-shaped trees look particularly peaceful early in the morning. If you can manage an early start, sunrise provides soft light and a wonderfully calm atmosphere for photographs.

March is a popular month for Caribbean sunshine, so visiting a less crowded beach can make your images feel more personal. Bring a small towel, take a slow walk along the water and let the setting do the work. This is also a lovely spot simply to pause, listen to the waves and begin the day away from the busier resort areas.

Caribbean Holidays, Aruba Instagram Spots, Aruba coastline viewed from California Lighthouse at sunset, with desert landscape, sea and warm orange sky

California Lighthouse Views

At the northern tip of the island, the California Lighthouse gives you a wide view across Aruba’s coastline. From this elevated position, you can photograph the contrast between the dry, cactus-covered landscape and the deep blue Caribbean Sea. The lighthouse itself adds a recognisable landmark to your composition.

Late afternoon is a good time to visit, as the lower sun creates warmer tones and longer shadows. Look out across the nearby beaches, then turn towards the surrounding countryside for a different perspective. Combine the visit with a stop at nearby viewpoints, but leave enough time to enjoy the scenery without rushing between locations.
