September Sunsets
September is a brilliant time to explore Aruba’s most photogenic places. The island’s famous trade winds keep the air moving, while warm temperatures make it easy to spend the day outdoors and stay out for sunset. For Instagram fans, the late afternoon light is especially flattering, turning the beaches and desert landscapes a rich golden colour.
Start at Eagle Beach, where the wide sweep of sand gives you plenty of space for an uncluttered photograph. The distinctive fofoti trees are a familiar Aruba landmark, and their shapes look particularly striking against a pink or orange sky. Arrive before sunset to capture the beach at its quietest, then stay as the colours deepen over the Caribbean Sea.
