Sint Eustatius, often known as Statia, offers a quieter and more adventurous diving experience. Its underwater landscape includes steep walls, coral-covered slopes and fascinating volcanic features, all surrounded by clear Caribbean water.

The island’s reefs attract colourful reef fish, turtles and larger pelagic species, while historic wrecks add another dimension for qualified divers. Local guides know the conditions well and can choose sites to suit your experience, whether you are looking for gentle reef exploration or a more exciting drift dive.

Discover Saba’s Underwater World

Saba is a small, mountainous island with a particularly impressive underwater setting. The surrounding marine park protects pinnacles, drop-offs, volcanic formations and coral gardens that rise from deep water close to shore.

Diving around Saba can feel wonderfully remote. Visibility is often excellent, and encounters may include turtles, rays, barracuda and large schools of fish. Because some sites are deeper or more exposed, Saba is especially appealing to confident divers, although operators can recommend suitable locations for less experienced visitors.

Pack reef-safe sun protection, a light jacket for boat trips and your certification details if you are already qualified. Allow time between your final dive and your flight, and you can enjoy these remarkable islands both above and below the water.
