Why Walk in January?
January is an excellent month for a walking holiday in the British Virgin Islands. The weather is generally warm, bright and pleasantly breezy, with lower humidity than later in the year. Daytime temperatures are comfortable for exploring, while the sea stays invitingly warm for a swim after a walk.
This is also a good time to escape the darker, colder days in the United Kingdom. You can spend your mornings on island trails, pause for lunch in a waterside village and finish the afternoon on a quiet beach. January is popular, but the islands still offer plenty of peaceful corners away from the busiest resorts.
