Birdwatching in July
July is a rewarding time for a birdwatching holiday in the Cayman Islands. The days are warm, bright and generally relaxed, with plenty of daylight for exploring coastal paths, woodland and wetlands. Early mornings are especially pleasant, before the heat builds and the islands become livelier.
Cayman’s varied habitats make it possible to see a surprising range of birds in a relatively small area. Look out for Caribbean specialities, graceful herons, colourful doves and busy garden visitors, while patient observers may spot birds that are less often seen around hotels and built-up areas.
