Havana’s Colourful Streets
February is an excellent time to explore Havana with your camera ready. The weather is usually warm and pleasantly dry, making it comfortable to wander through the old city before stopping for a cool drink in a shady plaza. Every street seems to offer something worth sharing, from faded colonial façades to brightly painted doors and balconies.
Start in Habana Vieja, where cobbled lanes open into lively squares such as Plaza Vieja and Plaza de la Catedral. Capture the contrast between grand historic buildings and everyday Cuban life, then head towards the Malecón for photographs of classic cars, fishermen and the sea. Early evening gives the stone buildings a warm glow and creates a relaxed backdrop for memorable holiday pictures.
