February Light on the Coast
Guadeloupe in February is made for memorable photographs. The weather is usually warm, bright and pleasantly dry, while the soft morning light brings out the colour of the sea, sand and tropical plants. Whether you use a phone or a camera, there is no shortage of beautiful scenes to share.
Start early at one of the islands’ beaches, before the day becomes busy and the sun is at its strongest. Grande Anse near Deshaies is a favourite for its wide sweep of golden sand and dramatic green hills, while Sainte-Anne offers clear shallows and a relaxed seaside atmosphere. A simple beach photograph can look especially striking here, thanks to Guadeloupe’s vivid natural colours.
