Why Visit in February?

February is an excellent time for a family holiday in the United States Virgin Islands. Pack reef-safe sun cream, hats and plenty of water, as the February sun can be strong even when the breeze feels cool.

St John’s Virgin Islands National Park is a wonderful choice for families who enjoy nature. Easy walks lead to viewpoints, quiet coves and traces of the island’s plantation past. On St Croix, you can visit Christiansted, explore the coast or learn about local wildlife at a family-friendly attraction.

Planning Your February Trip

February is a popular period for Caribbean holidays, so book flights, accommodation and favourite excursions early. Family resorts, villas and hotels can suit different budgets, and staying somewhere with a kitchen or breakfast included may make daily routines easier. Remember that the islands use US dollars and drive on the left, although many vehicles are left-hand drive.
