January Diving Conditions
January is an excellent month for a scuba diving holiday in Guadeloupe. The weather is generally warm and comfortable, with plenty of sunshine and sea temperatures that make long dives enjoyable. Water visibility is often impressive, allowing you to appreciate reef fish, coral formations and the volcanic underwater landscape.
There can be occasional showers, particularly on the greener Basse-Terre side of the island, but they are usually brief. Above the surface, expect daytime temperatures around the high twenties Celsius, while underwater conditions are typically calm enough for both experienced divers and beginners to enjoy guided excursions.
