Saba’s Dramatic Reefs
Saba is the choice for divers who enjoy striking underwater scenery. The island rises sharply from the sea, and its protected marine park includes pinnacles, walls and boulder formations covered in marine life. July can provide excellent conditions for seeing the depth and shape of these sites clearly.
Diving here is best arranged with an experienced local operator, as conditions can be more challenging than Bonaire’s easy shore entries. In return, you may encounter larger fish, turtles, colourful sponges and impressive drop-offs. Saba’s peaceful character above water adds to the feeling that you have discovered somewhere genuinely special.
