Why October Works

October is a rewarding time for a scuba diving holiday in Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. Currents can vary, so it is sensible to follow local advice and dive with an experienced operator. Between dives, Statia’s peaceful atmosphere and striking volcanic scenery make a pleasant contrast to time in the water.

Saba’s Steep Reefs

Saba is renowned for dramatic pinnacles, underwater walls and some of the Caribbean’s most distinctive dive sites. Boat diving is the norm, and trips are carefully planned around sea conditions.

October is a good time to combine Saba diving with a wider island adventure. When you are not underwater, you can walk forested trails, enjoy panoramic views and discover the island’s famously welcoming community.
