Why Visit in January

January is one of the best times to enjoy a Saint Barthélemy beach holiday. The island is warm, bright and pleasantly breezy, with daytime temperatures usually sitting around 28°C. After the wetter months, the weather is generally settled, making it easy to plan long beach days, boat trips and relaxed evenings outdoors.

This is also a popular season, so the island has a lively but polished atmosphere. January’s reliable conditions are excellent for getting out on the water. Evenings in Gustavia

Gustavia is especially enjoyable after a day in the sun. Stroll around the harbour to see yachts catching the last light, then choose from French, Caribbean and international menus. Fresh seafood, grilled fish and crisp salads are natural choices, while the island’s bakeries are perfect for a relaxed breakfast or picnic supplies.
