Why Dive in February
February is an excellent time for a scuba diving holiday in the United States Virgin Islands. The weather is typically warm and pleasantly dry, with plenty of sunshine for days spent both on and beneath the water. Sea conditions are often calm, making this a comfortable month for beginners and experienced divers alike.
Water temperatures remain inviting, usually around 26 degrees Celsius, so a lightweight wetsuit is generally all you need. Visibility can be impressive, allowing you to take in coral gardens, rocky walls and the bright tropical fish that make the reefs around St Thomas, St John and St Croix so memorable.
