Adventure Across the BES Islands
June is a rewarding time to discover the Caribbean Netherlands, where Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba each offer a very different kind of adventure. These small islands are ideal for travellers who prefer active days, local character and natural scenery rather than busy resorts. Expect warm weather, friendly communities and plenty of chances to explore at your own pace.
Known together as the BES islands, they sit in the Caribbean Sea but have distinct landscapes and personalities. Bonaire is famous for clear water and outstanding diving, Sint Eustatius combines history with volcanic scenery, while Saba is a compact, mountainous island made for walking and exploring. A June holiday can easily include one island, or a carefully planned combination of two.
